Off Leash K9 Training is the most-loved dog training company serving Spring Valley and the Las Vegas Valley.
A dog who listens at home and falls apart in public is a good fit for our two-week board and train, which suits most dogs. If you want a dog you can trust at the dog park, look at the three-week off-leash program. If other dogs or people set your dog off, start with the reactive dog program. Every price is on our plans and pricing page.
Why professional training is essential for Spring Valley dog owners
Behavior modification
Address jumping, pulling, barking, anxiety, and reactivity at the root, not just the symptom.
Safety & control
A dog that listens the first time is a safer dog around traffic, livestock, wildlife, and people.
Stronger bond
Clear communication builds trust, so your dog looks to you for direction instead of guessing.
Skills that transfer
We hand the training over to you at pickup, so the obedience keeps working at home.
Family harmony
A calm, well-mannered dog means a calmer home for kids, guests, and other pets alike.

Built for how Spring Valley dogs actually live
Spring Valley began with a racetrack. The Stardust International Raceway was built here in 1965, and after the land was sold in 1970 it became a planned housing community named for its views of the Spring Mountains. Today the town covers much of the southwest valley, and about 215,000 people live here.
Its neighborhoods are not all alike. The north has rural-estate zoning and large lots, much of the rest is subdivisions, and strip malls line the big boulevards, including the Chinatown stretch of Spring Mountain Road. A dog raised on a large lot may never have met a crowd. A dog in a busy subdivision may meet one every day.
The town also has dog parks at Desert Breeze Park and Spring Valley Community Park. A dog park is only relaxing when your dog comes back when you call. The off-leash program builds that recall in open, high-distraction places. If other dogs are the trouble, start with the reactive dog program rather than the dog park.
Where your dog will shine
- Desert Breeze Park
- Spring Valley Community Park
- The strip malls along Spring Mountain Road
- Walks through your own subdivision
- Your own yard and front gate
Ernesto Rincon is a Marine Corps veteran and a lifelong Las Vegas local. His interest in training started during his military service, watching Belgian Malinois at work, and after adopting a Malinois of his own he threw himself into dog training.
He takes a personalized approach, tailoring the training to each dog's needs and temperament, and his goal is long-lasting results for every family he works with.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work with dogs from all over Spring Valley?
Yes, from the large lots in the north to the newer streets in the south. It is all inside the area we cover across the Las Vegas Valley. There is no storefront to visit, and your trainer sets up drop-off and pick-up with you when you book.
My dog ignores me at the dog park. Which program is for that?
The 3-Week Off-Leash Program. It includes everything in the two-week program and adds off-leash reliability in open, busy places. If your dog goes after other dogs at the park, tell us when you call, because the 3-Week Reactive Dog Program may be the better place to start.
My dog is great at home and a mess in public. Why?
Home is easy: same smells, same people, nothing new. Listening around strangers, other dogs and noise is a separate skill. The 2-Week On-Leash Program teaches come, sit, down, place, heel and off, then proves them at busy malls, shopping centers and parks.
How much is training in Spring Valley?
Prices are the same across the valley: $3,485 for the 2-Week On-Leash Program, and $4,485 each for the 3-Week Off-Leash and 3-Week Reactive Dog programs, with an e-collar included. See our plans and pricing page. Payment plans are available. Call us today to learn more about payment options.
My puppy is only a few months old. Can we start?
Not quite yet. Your dog needs to be at least 20 weeks old to start a board and train, and we do not run a separate puppy program. We are glad to talk it through on the phone before then.
