Local dog training you can trust

Off Leash K9 Training is the most-loved dog training company serving Enterprise and the Las Vegas Valley.

New streets, new neighbors and a lot of new dogs: that is daily life in much of Enterprise. Our two-week board and train meets the needs of most dogs. The three-week off-leash program adds reliability without a leash, and dogs who overreact to other dogs or people have a reactive dog program of their own. Every price is on our plans and pricing page.

Why it matters

Why professional training is essential for Enterprise dog owners

Behavior modification

Address jumping, pulling, barking, anxiety, and reactivity at the root, not just the symptom.

Safety & control

A dog that listens the first time is a safer dog around traffic, livestock, wildlife, and people.

Stronger bond

Clear communication builds trust, so your dog looks to you for direction instead of guessing.

Skills that transfer

We hand the training over to you at pickup, so the obedience keeps working at home.

Family harmony

A calm, well-mannered dog means a calmer home for kids, guests, and other pets alike.

What we offer

Our dog training programs for Enterprise dogs

Every program is a board and train: your dog boards with a professional trainer, then you get a one-on-one handover session. Here is how they break down.

Board & train

Our two-week program meets the needs of most dog owners. Your dog boards with a professional trainer and trains every day.

  • Come, sit, down, place, heel and off
  • Proofed at busy malls, shopping centers and parks
  • One-on-one handover session at the end

Off-leash training

Three weeks that build on the two-week program and add off-leash reliability, for dogs who go everywhere with you.

  • A recall you can count on
  • Open, high-distraction places
  • E-collar included

Reactive dog training

A three-week, on-leash program for dogs who overreact to other dogs, people or animals.

  • Impulse control around triggers
  • Confidence for worried dogs
  • Parks at off-peak hours and neighborhood walks

Training in Enterprise

Built for how Enterprise dogs actually live

One number says a lot about Enterprise: about 14,700 people lived here in 2000, and about 221,800 lived here by 2020. Residents petitioned to form the town in 1996, hoping to protect its semi-rural feel. Today it is also home to large planned communities like Mountain's Edge and Southern Highlands.

A growing town changes a dog's day. There are more neighbors, more dogs behind the block walls and more walks past all of them. If your dog barks at the wall, drags you toward every dog on the sidewalk or tunes you out at the park, you are dealing with exactly the everyday behavior our board and train works on.

Enterprise also has good places to take a well-behaved dog, like the trails at Exploration Peak Park and the dog park in Mountain's Edge. Dogs who need to come back when called, with distractions around, are who the off-leash program is for. Training does not change the rules, so follow the leash rules posted wherever you walk.

Where your dog will shine

  • Exploration Peak Park
  • The dog park in Mountain's Edge
  • Olympia Sports Park in Southern Highlands
  • Sidewalks on newly built streets
  • Your own driveway and block wall

Who you will be working with

Ernesto Rincon is a Marine Corps veteran and a lifelong Las Vegas local. His interest in training started during his military service, watching Belgian Malinois at work, and after adopting a Malinois of his own he threw himself into dog training.

He takes a personalized approach, tailoring the training to each dog's needs and temperament, and his goal is long-lasting results for every family he works with.

“We knew our puppy, Vinny, was going to be a handful and much more of a challenge than our other dog. After his training, Vinny did a 180 and was so much more obedient”

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover Mountain's Edge and Southern Highlands?

Yes. Both are in Enterprise, and Enterprise is inside the area we cover across the Las Vegas Valley. Your dog boards with a professional trainer for the program, so there is no storefront to visit. Drop-off and pick-up are arranged with you when you book.

My dog barks and lunges at the dog behind our block wall. Can you help?

Yes. A dog who overreacts to other dogs is who the 3-Week Reactive Dog Program is for. It is on leash, it works on your dog's specific triggers, and it trains at moderate distraction levels, such as local parks at off-peak hours. Call us and describe what your dog does at the wall. That free phone consultation is the best place to start.

Our young dog drags us down the sidewalk. Which program fits?

Start with the 2-Week On-Leash Program. Your dog boards with a professional trainer and trains every day on come, sit, down, place, heel and off, then proves it at busy malls, shopping centers and parks. At the end, you get a one-on-one session so you know how to keep it going.

What does training cost for an Enterprise family?

The 2-Week On-Leash Program is $3,485. The 3-Week Off-Leash and 3-Week Reactive Dog programs are $4,485 each. All three include an e-collar, and every price is on our plans and pricing page. Payment plans are available. Call us today to learn more about payment options.

We have a new puppy. When can training start?

Once your puppy is at least 20 weeks old. We do not run a separate puppy program, so a younger puppy waits until then. Call us any time before that and we can talk through which program makes sense.
